Thanks for thinking about becoming a Sichbo Supporter. This agreement outlines what it is you're paying for in a clear way so that we're both on the same page.
Even though this is not a wall of legalese with illegible capital letters everywhere, it's still a binding agreement between you and me, Simon Bond (Sichbo Interactive) and you have to be in agreement with these things before you can sign on as a supporter or make a one-time contribution.
What is the Sichbo Supporter program?
The Sichbo Supporter program is intended solely as a way for people to support their favorite TV software SichboPVR. Supporter contributions go directly to me, Simon Bond (Sichbo Interactive) so that I can pay my bills and support users in return.
For legal clarity this is not a "software license" but a supporter account.
A supporter account unlocks all features and gives you to right to use those features on up to 10 devices or PCs for as long as you remain a supporter, or in perpetuity if you become a lifetime supporter.
I plan on requesting support/help, is there any service guarantee?
I will attempt to help with any issue you have to the best of my ability, but unfortunately many issues people encounter are caused by 3rd party device drivers. As such, there is no guarantee that utilising your paid support benefit will result in a positive outcome.
Am I allowed to ask for feature additions/changes?
Feature suggestions are given the consideration they deserve however the decision on whether or not to implement something is usually based on demand.
Are there any refunds?
If somebody throws their toys out of the pram or makes a fuss then I'm not going to argue — life's too short.
Do you share my data with any other organisations?
No, I have no external business relationships and I do not advertise or do anything creepy.
Is my payment info secure?
Payment details are stored by Stripe.com or PayPal (whichever you choose to use.) The only info on my server will be an encrypted-at-rest copy of your email address and name so I know how to contact you, amounts/taxes paid, and random unique identifiers provided by Stripe/PayPal which are needed for cancelling a subscription.
If I become an annual supporter, what does that entail?
By becoming a long term supporter you're authorising a small yearly contribution until you decide to cancel them. This way I can afford to eat and you can use SichboPVR for what is essentially pocket change (I hope!)
If I subscribe, how do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time by visiting sichbopvr.com/support and re-entering the same e-mail address that you registered with under the 'Cancel your yearly support' heading.
What happens after I cancel?
As a thank you, any activated installations of SichboPVR will continue to work with supporter features indefinitely, until you uninstall SichboPVR or lose or wipe its settings.
